Check out this fun little family of Wooden Spools I created for Bella's Booth Display. They are so easy to make, and today I'm going to tell you how!
Here's what You'll Need:
Miniature and small Wooden spools (from your local craft store)
Hot Glue Gun & Glue
An Assortment of Bella's Designer Tapes
An Assortment of Bella's Stick Pin Flags
An Assortment of miniature & medium sized clothespins
Some wallet-size photos and/or notes & tags
1. Using some of your favorite patterned
Designer Tapes (
from Bella Blvd), wrap a couple layers of tape around various wooden spools.
2. Stack wooden spools & adhere using hot glue gun (no rules apply here, mix & match to layer a sturdy little tower of wooden spools)
3. Use a small amount of hot glue to place a clothespin on top of your tower; be careful not to glue closed the clothespin as you want to be able to pinch and open to place a photo in later.
4. Embellish with Stick Pin Flags, by placing a small drop of hot glue on top and then holding the Stick Pin(s) in place until the glue hardens.
They're easy, huh?! And you can make them in so many different colors and sizes too! My local craft store has these wooden spools in so many different sizes includes large ones! I just love the bite-size nature of the babies though :)
They make great teacher gifts, desk accessories or little places around the house to leave notes. Visit the Bella Studio Blog today for more pictures and a supply list.
Super cute!
