As you know, I'm always trying to keep it fresh around here. That's why I'm adding this new feature to my regular blogging. "Inspired by You" is exactly that: It's a place for me to share some of my favorite Bella finds with you and give credit to those people that are inspiring me along the way!
Bella Blvd recently turned four years old and without designers, crafters, scrapbookers and creative people like you I wouldn't be inspired to continue designing new prints, patterns & products. I want you to know how much you inspire me.
Part of my job is to stay inspired. Easier said than done (as most of you know). That's why several hours each month I spend scouring magazines and the internet to see how you are using my designs, the Bella Blvd product collections.
"Inspired by You" blog posts will reveal some of my favorite online & print discoveries using specifically Bella Blvd products.
Somedays I'll share work from everywhere and all over, and other days I might focus on one specific inspiring person....today, I'd like to tell you that I'm very inspired by
Mini Album and Photo from Kim Jeffress.
I love spotting Bella, even if just little snippets and pieces here and there. I find myself following Kim's blog after spying several pieces of Bella within her projects. Love the use of Banana Sprinkles & Lace pattern on the spine of her mini album above.
"Kisses for Mummy" also by Kim Jeffress
I loved spotting the watermelon & strawberry patterned paper on this layout by Kim. The pattern belongs with the Sunshine & Happiness collection & is the backside of item # 440, Cute Cuts. This pattern didn't show up much on the Design Team's projects so I was super inspired to see it used here! For more images, visit Kim's Blog post here.
Here are a couple other perfect examples and bits and snips of Bella that have caught my eye and inspired me.
The color combination that Kim uses in the "feet" layout (above) is so cute....and it's "so me" to love the pop of pink with the Bella Blvd Sprinkles & Lace Peep (from the Sophisticates collection) pennant. Just a touch of Bella used in a non-traditional way...I love it!
And one more layout for here from Kim--featuring Item #202 Traffic Jam patterned paper (cars and trucks) from my Mr. Boy Collection. I find the mix of my crisp-white-based patterns next to the cream, more vintage based palette of other papers very trendy & not what I imagined when designing the Mr. Boy Collection. You can see more details here.
Thank you Kim for allowing me to share your work here today, and for constantly inspiring me. You might not have know I was watching or following you...but I love your work and your style. Thank you for using Bella and brightening my day!
