It's about time I start sharing again...how about a recent 12x12" scrapbooking layout to start?!
With Valentine's day right around the corner I thought I'd share this layout themed around some of my favorite people that I love the most: my nieces and nephew.
This layout is definitely mixes& matches Bella Blvd with other products within my personal scrappy stash. I was inspired by one of my DT girls, Katherine McElvain. She previously created a layout where she strung my buttons across her layout in a zig-zag fashion. I thought it was very clever and creative, having not seen the buttons used in that way before, so I had to give it a try myself.
I love how the buttons create a playful look. Seeing that the layout is about my 3 "little peeps" it was a fun way to add flair to the page. All the buttons are from Bella's Button Market collection, threaded onto a piece of yellow Baker's Twine.
After printing out journaling snippets I added them as strips to the journaling sticker from my Family Dynamix paper collection.
It's hard for me to create a layout without adding in one or two of those Stick Pin Flags.
