Hollywood, California Feature: Graumans Theatre

I've been scrappin' some fun trips lately including the extra days spent in LA last year post-CHA. The next few days are going to be Hollywood Layout features! Hope you enjoy!

I forgot to stitch-up these buttons which I must do (personal pet-peeve), but am lovin' the scattered, random brads/buttons/bling look lately.

The floral and petals element was cut from an October Afternoon patterned paper.

Graumans Chinese Theatre was pretty cool. This was the first time I've ever done any sight-seeing in California and enjoyed reading up on the history behind the hand and footprints in the cement. I found some of my favorite actors and celebrities and took a bunch of photos!

Shadow Box

I take no credit for this beautiful embellishment shadowbox. Isn't it delicious? One of my girls (Therese) put this together for the Bella Blvd CHA Booth display in January. The wonderful perk of owning the company is I get to keep fabulous creations like this!

It's currently in my scrapbook room at home waiting for a beautiful place to be hung. I just am in love with the new buttons, crochet flowers & stick pin flags!

I've Been Traveling....and Still Am

For those of you that follow me through Bella Blvd (and here also) you know I've been in California releasing my new products at the CHA Winter 2012 Craft & Hobby Trade Show.

That's me! Hi. ;)

The show was wonderful. It always is. The booth turned out great. I'm so grateful for all the designers, assistants, Bella employees and family and friends that help me prepare for this big week of business!

The new paper collections received great responses. But I have a gut feeling that Baby Boy & Baby Girl will be our top paper sellers.

This is Laura Vegas, my Design Team & Special Projects Coordinator. She lives in California so it was wonderful that she drove over to hang with some industry friends, help us out at the Bella booth and come along on some fun business dinners!

As always my girl rocked it! I'm always amazed when I watch them with customers. We've made so many wonderful friends through this hobby & industry and always look forward to catching up with them.

This is Tonya and Cynthea. They are with the adorable Doodlebug. We've been friends since I was in high school. Bucca Di Beppo's was our meeting spot for din din one night. Great times.

The two have bets on my wedding colors: Cynthea's vote is for Pink & Gray while Tonya is cheering for Pink & Brown. oh boy! (btw, I HAVE NO IDEA ABOUT ANYTHING WEDDING! STILL just very happy to be engaged!)

Thank you for always reading, for supporting me and telling all your friends about Bella Blvd too! I feel blessed. 

Today I will be arriving in Napoli, Italy where I will be teaching at the Paper and Company Show. I'll be sure to take plenty of pictures...so I can share with you soon!

I'm excited to be a part of this awesome group of teachers!

It's going to be wonderful and I've been doing my best to brush up on my Italiano with a few books while in the air! Wish me luck!

Setting Up in California

Hi friends! Well, I arrived safely in California and yesterday my team and I completed the first day of booth set-up at The Anaheim Convention Center. There's a lot of cool stuff happening at this CHA. Besides all the awesome new Bella Blvd product, did you know that Tori Spelling and wedding planner David Tutera will be at the show too? Pretty cool beans, right?!

It's always fun (in my opinion) setting up the booth. I know it's an "ungoshly" amount of work but it's fun working together as a team and creating the beautiful display. All the new products takes months and months to develop and create that it's so rewarding when we are finally ready to unveil the CHA Booth Display!

I couldn't be more excited about the new embellishments that are coming out at CHA. If I'm allowed to have favorites I must say...I love love love love love love love these new flags!

They're bright and sweet and little and stick so easily into cards, layouts and make fun little embellishments for all occasions! And these new Crochet Flowers are so petite and pretty! They are my babies!

I can't wait for the retailers and press to see them in real life. To touch them & squeeze them (well not really, but maybe ;)

Friday Favorites

First off, thank you for all the congrats! Steven surprised the snot out of me when he proposed, believe it or not! After six years of dating we're finally going to "do this!" I'll be sharing plenty  of wedding-related fun as time goes on.....but....for now....

I'm also thinking about making  "Friday Favorites"  a new feature around here where I can share favorites of all kinds (scrapbooking supplies, stores, color schemes, food, etc.) What do you think? Would you be interested....or bored? Let me know in the comment below, okay?

Sneak Peeks Day 2

We kicked off the CHA Sneak Peeks yesterday over at Bella, and the response so far has been wonderful! Today we have revealed an embellishment release that I've branded, The Button Market. I'm pumped about these beauties! The plastic button styles have been dyed to match Bella Blvd's signature bright color palette

July Recap.

July was busy, especially with work at the CHA Trade show, but here were some of the highlights

Spending an entire weekend up at the Lakehouse with the entire family is rare, but we did it ONCE this summer!

CHA Chicago was a short drive away as I released 4 NEW product collections with Bella Blvd!

I became a God Mother for the second time to this cutie patoots, Baby Lauren:

And we went up to Steven's land and camped too, taking Baby Lauren in the swimming pool for the very first time:

And the truth is, I didn't take many photos in August-just a couple in Illinois at our Six Flags Great America getaway. What did you do that was super memorable this summer?
