I did bring my camera along and took lots of fun photos (nothing over-the-top awesome---all the pictures of Steven & I are just that...taken by Steven and I----so we either have one long arm coming right at the lens or double chins, etc. etc.!) While I'm sitting here in the airport with Steven waiting to board I thought I'd share with you a quick summary of my trip via InstaGram photos (my new obsession!)
Southwest Airlines, always my first choice. Great prices, customer service, and free bags!
I'm a firm believer in heaven. I think I found a little slice of it when I arrived to this view from our hotel room.
Pre-IU kicked off with some mini workshops & Bella Blvd. Teresa and her girls were adorable!
Then the "real" IU kicked off and the store was I.N.S.A.N.E!!! I think, literally at one moment in time there was a line at least 70 people deep waiting to check out. No joke.
At the Bella Blvd tables we sold some exclusive IU kits created solely for the event. They went quick....we probably could have brought some more........next year my friends, I promise!
After our workshops, Gail and I did a little shopping in The District. (I prefer to spend my well-earned $$ on fashion, accessories and gifts instead of gambling...thank you very much! ;)
Before we knew it was time to pack up the IU store and prepare for the closing ceremonies including a FABULOUS keynote speaker, Jill. Ginger Nelson is amazing. Seriously. I know I work extremely hard at Bella and respect her more than she probably even knows, because even I cannot imagine coordinating such an event with 300+ attendees. She is inspiring to me.
Steven flew in just in time to join me at the closing ceremonies. I think he was maybe 1 of 4 guys in a room FILLED TO THE BRIM with ladies....but that's why I love him. He was very inspired too by the keynote speaker. Because of his interest in the medical field, he couldn't believe how Jill had survived such awful complications following her Gastric Bypass.
Then we enjoyed Football Sunday in Las Vegas...another slice of heaven for the 2 of us.
We enjoyed some time at the pool, ran into a friend from high school (small world), and
worked on our tans a bit.
We enjoyed a couple super nice and romantic dates including a steak restaurants inside Ceasar's Palace that (low and behold) our cab driver suggested to us.
And a super fun night at the MGM Grand seeing a Cirque show, KA. It was c.r.a.z.y cool. Very undescribable but full of random & bizarre circus elements, costumes and props. So unique.
And now it's time to say goodbye. We're headed back to Wisconsin, where the sun has officially gone into hibernation. I probably won't see the sun until March.....maybe....
<3 Instagram too!!
Fab post & sweet to enjoy couple time with your honey!
((hugs))
