It's time for another Wedding Wednesday feature! Today I invite you to join me in thrifting, antiquing and searching for things, things, things!
Now that you know our wedding will be at Turner Hall (see announcement here), it's a perfect assumption for yout to think the wedding will be vintage! Yup. That's right.
I've been having a ball the past few months shopping around town and even driving some distances for some fabulous Flea Markets. Living in the Midwest is perfect for adventures like these. There are so many "things" I'm hunting for (but I can't share all the fun, or there will be no surprises come wedding day!)
This store is one of my faves in Milwaukee. Antiques on Second is 10,000 square feet! Thousands of vendors & "booths" with different stuff! I've never seen so much STUFF (that's a good word, right?) !
Morgan and I spent nearly four hours in here one Saturday.
There's so much cool stuff....why can't I register here? ack.
Seriously check out these awesome drawers....from old car shops....like all you scrapbookers don't want to organize your buttons, tags and little pieces in there! I want those for my scraproom!
The hunt is on for cool props for the Photo Studio at the reception: retro glasses like these, old canes, umbrellas, gloves jewelry and so much more!
I get all sentimental when I start to think that this is probably someones great grandmother's jewelry collection. So beautiful.
Check out all those clothes, and hats...omg it's like a little girls dress-up-dream come true!
I hope they didn't mind me snappin' pictures throughout the store-but I just love me some Second Street Antiques!
(PS-Don't forget to leave a comment for a chance to win new Bella Blvd goodies-see yesterday's post)
I need one of those! We live in a small town in Idaho and I can't find real antiques anywhere! What a beautiful wedding you are going to have!
