Last March I wrote this post about how Anabelle's (my niece) basketball coach, Brian, was a great example in her life - especially after losing her father. The post was titled, "Making a Difference." I appropriately used the exact same title for my 12x12" Scrapbook layout.
I chose a team picture to feature although the layout is really about his influence in her life--because he has given Anabelle such a strong sense of teamwork, family, dedication, hard work and responsibility all through coaching this team. Can you believe that the layout includes products from my Baby Boy, Making the Team and Sophisticates collections?!
The Designer tapes make layering fun and super easy. The black and gray tape, Jail Bird, is featured here.
I enjoy ripping double-sided paper and revealing a bit of the back side (see at the top near the stars), layering and distressing my chipboard letters and mixing and matching alphabets.
See the Designer Tape hiding underneath the ripped area of the yellow patterned paper?
Remember you can mix and match even Baby-themed products with sports and everyday!
This is AWESOME!!! I loveeeeeeeee the colors and the stars!!!! Very cool how you mixed the collections!!!
