My sister and I were recently on a shopping adventure when we spotted this sign in a boutique. We both couldn't help but crack up, knowing exactly how true every single statement was. For all you ladies out there, don't you agree?

Hard to believe that Christmas has one-month-past. I'm proud to say that I have completed my December Daily. I just had a really hard time photographing and posting it all during the month of December with preparing for the CHA show. Here's the best family photograph we go this year, our first married Christmas and Mr. & Mrs.

Printing a favorite photo in a super big size always makes a great impact. This photo of my brother-in-law Dan with his daughter Lauren during her first swim was just priceless so I printed it as 12x12" and it became the base of my layout.
Just a few embellishments in the negative space of the photograph is all it needed to finish it off. Crochet Hearts (Bella Blvd) and some punched paper hearts, floating up the right side of the layotu.
And some strips of Bella Blvd Designer Washi Tapes, mixed with a sticker font combination (from Doodlebug and Jillibean Soup) for my title, and wha-la!
Spending my weekend at my parents lakehouse, enjoying a popsicle or two...a bon fire, some swimming and family time. Mio loves it up here :)

Our vacation in Puerto Rico recently was wonderful. Here's one of my favorite photos from the week. I can't wait to share with you more from my visit at The Scrapbook Gallery, and the short vacation that followed. I'm still editing pictures....very soon I'll have more to share....
Well, technically Spring is here, right? With all this unseasonably warm temperatures, I'm so excited to see my tulips sprouting! I can't wait to see the pinks and reds blooms soon!
Steven and I spent quite a few hours a last weekend de-weeding and mulching this flower bed. This photo is the "before" photo --- where you can see the weeds and sticks and old disintegrating mulch. Focus on the pretty green people okay! This is exciting, it's warming up around here ;)
As we finish up the mini "planting" project next weekend I'll share with you the after shots!

I've got to keep you on your feet! And, as a creative person, change is good. It rejuvenates my mind and soul & gets me excited! It's definitely a creative thing.
Lately, I've been super inspired finding new blogs & creative ideas. I thought to myself,
"self, it's time to refresh the blog with some new features."
Blogs are personal, right? No matter how you spin it I am me--and "ME" is Personal. Sentimental. Emotional. That's why I want to make this blog "more me". Does that make any sense or am I rambling?? I'm not saying I'm going to be crying telling you my entire life story & daily dramas, but I do want to share more about who I am, my life and interests (including scrapbooking of course, but not limited to.)
With all that said I've come up with some new features you'll start to see around here on a regular basis:
I'll explain a little bit more about each feature as they come up...and every single week won't be the same....but if there is wedding stuff....it will appear on a wednesday. These features are also now in the "categories cloud" on the sidebar if you ever want to search for posts tagged specifically.
As usual I'll be including random DIY's, Single & double page scrapbooking layouts, health & fitness updates and more! If there's every anything you'd like to see around here, be sure to email me or leave suggestions below by entering a comment.
