My beautiful sister (Angela) and amazing Aunt (Marcella) hosted a lovely bridal shower last weekend for the "Bride's Family" group of guests. They did such a wonderful job, the afternoon was so enjoyable. Here they are...
When guests arrived there was a super fun display put together with photos and misc. decorations draped on a room divider.
My Aunt and sister had asked me a week or so ago to give them a collection of photos for "a project they were working on."
The pink tulle bows were so cute, and the giant paper mache "s" was so appropriate too!
Even though I prepped and printed the photos for them, I couldn't help myself but enjoy the little details like the heart garland and the tiny little clothespins!
The pink and white paper puffs repeated themselves throughout the house as well!
There was also this darling basket of custom sugar cookies for guests as a favor on their way out later in the afternoon.
Chaya & Ang did a great job with the details around the house, here are just a few...
The flowers were beautiful, and I loved the burlap table runner....she even framed one of the darling shower invitations too!
Loved the ribbon-wrapped Simma's cheesecake...yum! And look at the fun sticker labels on the jar of Resees Peanut butter cups (my absolute favorite candy of all time!)
Photos adorned the house in different areas like this. And the gift-opening area was charming...
Before gifts we played a couple games! (I know most people don't like games, but I enjoy them :) I love planning them at other parties and enjoyed watching & observing during these!)
(Stephanie & Steven Quiz) Angela had some fun questions for everyone :) And who hosts a bridal shower with the hilarious toilet-paper-create-a-bride game :) Everyone split into four different teams....the great sports/brides were:
1-My Mom
2-Grandma Schmid (Steven's Grandma)-and yes they gave her balloon boobies...can you believe it ?! She was such an awesome sport :)
3-My cousin Lisa
and last but not least #4-My Sister Angela
It was hilarious. I totally loved watching this in action! Here are the brides in all their glory!
After lunch and some good laughs, we opened gifts....and Steven arrived just in time to sit with me and mingle too!
Check out that fun gift my aunt gave me....and mounted photo of mine and Steven's very first kiss back in 2005 :) So sweet, for our bedroom someday I hope.
The shower had an Around-The-Clock gift-opening theme....so it was fun to see what everyone interpreted for their given gift "time." I totally loved this one: 3pm snack time. Look at the cuteness from baking, snack containers and games too :) All wrapped up in a little bit of Bella.
Loved this wrapping too including pretty Bella Feathers and the 10pm gift time....
Appropriately inside the 10pm gift was a beautiful Victoria's Secret "bride" robe :) swoon. (I think Steven liked it too :)
Sarah snapped some great pictures during gifts...love this one....cracks me up!
Me and my MR. MISTER :)
(Check out that pretty bow-bouquet) I snapped some ribbons that's for sure.....I think some kiddos might be in our future :)
So thankful Marcella asked the Bridesmaids to wear pink....made for a great group picture!
Thank you to Angela and Chaya. You 2 are awesome and wonderful. I don't deserve all the love you offer. One more shower is yet to come....the friends group (all my scrappy friends, some college girlies and business friends too :) But before that comes the month of April----Bachelorette month!!! Vegas here we come.....
